Organizational Background
Johannes Aid Foundation (JAF) is a social welfare organization established in 2018 in Da mongo the West Gonja district, situated in the Northern Region of Ghana. JAF’s main thrust is
Securing rights of the poor and marginalized, sustainable livelihood development through village savings and loans association (VSLA). The organization’s policy spelt out that, special concentration will be given to women’s participation in decision making and in building poor people’s capacity to cater for themselves.
One of the main aims of establishing Johannes Aid Foundation is to care and cater for orphans and vulnerable children in Ghana so as to build their confidence, and create opportunities to facilitate the development of their talents so that they can manage their own lives independently.
